全球投资者瞄准开放创新的深圳，12月6日以“开放创新 共享未来”为主题的2024深圳全球招商大会在深圳会展中心（福田）举行，一批重大项目在现场签约，大会洽谈签约项目超过400个，涉及投资额超过9000亿元。

　　The 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference took place at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian District) on December 6 as global investors were drawn to the inclusive and innovative city of Shenzhen. Under the theme "Openness and Innovation for a Shared Future", the event saw the on-site signing of more than 400 projects worth over RMB 900 billion in total.

　　大会邀请世界500强企业、跨国公司、央企国企、中国500强企业、上市公司、独角兽企业、行业领军企业的高层参会。来自欧洲、亚洲、美洲等33个国家和地区的超700家企业及机构代表齐聚深圳，其中世界500强企业及跨国公司超过200家。大会现场，一批优秀落户企业、招商优胜区现场颁牌，企业家代表现场演讲，面向全球推介深圳，发出深圳招商引资最强音。

　　The conference brought together senior executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, multinational corporations, central and state-owned enterprises, China's top 500 firms, listed companies, unicorn companies, and industry leaders. The participants came from over 700 enterprises and institutions across 33 countries and regions, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas, more than 200 of which were Fortune Global 500 companies and multinational corporations. At the event, a group of great companies that have invested in Shenzhen, along with the outstanding districts for investment promotion, were recognized with awards. Entrepreneurial representatives delivered speeches, presenting Shenzhen to a global audience and making a compelling call for investment in the city.

　　The conference was chaired by Qin Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shenzhen, and was addressed by Meng Fanli, the Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee. Other prominent attendees included Dai Yunlong, Party Secretary of Standing Committee of the Shenzhen People's Congress and Director-General, Lin Jie, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC Committee of Shenzhen, as well as municipal leaders such as Zheng Hongbo, Zhang Hua, Luo Huanghao, and Lu Wenpeng.

　　The conference was hosted by the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality and organized by the Investment Promotion Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Information Office and Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality, and the People's Government of Futian District. It showcased Shenzhen's investment outcomes across all districts and authorities while highlighting the city's high-quality economic and social developments and world-class business environment. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Shenzhen has held the Global Investment Promotion Conference.

　　As the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and People's Government of Shenzhen continuously attach great importance to investment promotion, Shenzhen is refining the "big investment" paradigm and carrying out a global investment promotion campaign under a framework based on "sincerity + action". The conference served as a comprehensive, expansive, and high-level platform for investment and cooperation, maximizing Shenzhen's active role as the major driving force of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) while enhancing the city's global appeal and influence.

　　The conference yielded outstanding results, with more than 400 projects discussed and signed. Relevant government organizations and districts signed agreements on-site with a number of companies with an intent to invest in Shenzhen. These companies include Valeo, Rockwell Automation, Knorr-Bremse, Dassault Systèmes, Chubb, Luye Medical, China Telecom, China Unicom, China FAW Group, China Travel Service (HK), China Resources Recycling Group, AutoNavi Software, Envision Energy, Ganfeng Lithium, LandSpace Technology, Luxshare Group, and RoboSense. These signed projects cover a wide range of industries, including new energy, next-generation electronics, low-altitude economy and aerospace, intelligent connected vehicles, biomedicine, and medical devices.  

　　大会还设置了“招商走廊”和深圳品牌展示区，集中展现深圳经济发展的活力、招商引资的吸引力和本土品牌的多样魅力。记者在现场看到，“招商走廊”重点展示前海合作区、各区（含大鹏新区、深汕特别合作区）的招商成果；品牌展示区展出包括华为、比亚迪、荣耀、大疆、优必选、越疆、影石、飞亚达在内的超40个深圳本土品牌的特色产品。

　　The event featured the "Investment Corridor" and the Shenzhen Brand Display Zone, where the city's economic dynamics, the appeal of its investment promotion efforts, and the diversified charisma of local brands were highlighted. The "Investment Corridor" showcased the investment promotion outcomes of the Qianhai Cooperation Zone and all districts (including Dapeng New District, and Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone). The Shenzhen Brand Display Zone exhibited unique products from over 40 local brands, including Huawei, BYD, Honor, DJI, UBTECH, Dobot, Insta360, and FIYTA.

　　A full-fledged industrial ecosystem is the cornerstone for attracting global businesses and industries to Shenzhen. In its investment promotion campaign, the city shifted the focus to new sectors. It has conducted well-targeted investment promotion activities both domestically and internationally to expand its global network of investors and inject fresh momentum into the new industrialization drive.

　　The 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference fully leveraged the synergies among districts and adopted the "1+9+11+N" framework, that is, 1 main conference, 9 themed events, 11 investment inspection activities, and numerous overseas investment promotion sub-sessions.

　　在海外分会场方面，深圳先后在澳大利亚墨尔本、法国巴黎、美国纽约、日本东京、巴西圣保罗等城市举办5场海外分会场活动，总共吸引海外超过400位来自商协会、投资机构和企业的代表参会。

　　Five overseas investment promotion sub-sessions were held in Melbourne (Australia), Paris (France), New York (USA), Tokyo (Japan), and São Paulo (Brazil), with over 400 participants from business associations, investment institutions, and companies.

　　大会首创主题招商活动，选取新一代电子信息、低空经济与空天、智能网联汽车与高性能材料、人工智能、医药和医疗器械、商贸与文旅、金融、海洋、独角兽企业等9个细分领域开展“精准招商”，邀请业内具有影响力的企业家、科学家和专家学者出席活动，围绕产业发展趋势和投资机遇深入互动。

　　For the first time, the conference introduced themed events focused on nine key sectors identified for targeted investment promotion. These sectors include next-generation electronics, low-altitude economy and aerospace, intelligent connected vehicles, high-performance materials, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, commerce and cultural tourism, finance, marine resources, and unicorn companies. These sessions brought together influential entrepreneurs, scientists, and experts for in-depth discussions on industry development trends and investment opportunities.

　　The conference fully demonstrated Shenzhen's fruitful outcomes of investment promotion over the past year, including production and R&D results. Many Fortune Global 500 companies, multinational corporations, central and state-owned enterprises, and leading private companies have established a presence in Shenzhen, particularly in strategic emerging clusters and future industry clusters. Advanced manufacturing industries such as digital creativity, high-end equipment, medical devices, and new materials remain key investment fields for global investors because of their innovation-driven, leading, and supporting rules.

　　At the conference, ten companies, including Starbucks, Hexagon, Siemens Healthineers, Bauhinia Culture Group, and China Rare Earth Group, were honored as "Outstanding Investing Enterprises for 2023-2024". Futian District, Nanshan District, Baoan District, Longhua District, and Guangming District were recognized as "2024 Outstanding Districts for Investment Promotion".

　　To provide investors with a first-hand experience of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and business environment in Shenzhen, the Qianhai Cooperation Zone and all districts (including Dapeng New District and Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone) elaborately curated multiple investment inspection routes. Conference attendees were invited to participate in on-site inspections to explore Shenzhen's investor-friendly policies, financial services, industrial space, and overall business compatibility. 　　The world-class business environment is a core competitive advantage for the city's growth. A favorable investment climate can encourage companies to "come and stay". The city now boasts over 4.38 million business entities, ranking No.1 nationwide in terms of both the number of businesses and entrepreneurial intensity.

　　大会现场，华润（集团）有限公司董事长王祥明、中国旅游集团有限公司党委书记、董事长王海民、意法半导体执行副总裁、企业财务及亚洲公共事务总裁柏特朗、达索全球执行副总裁、亚太区总裁许善淞、远景科技集团董事长张雷等企业家代表作了发言，分享在深投资兴业的故事。

　　At the conference, representative entrepreneurs shared their stories of investment and entrepreneurship in Shenzhen, including Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group; Wang Haimin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Tourism Group; Bertrand Stoltz, Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance and Asia Public Affairs at STMicroelectronics; Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific at Dassault Systèmes; and Zhang Lei, Chairman of Envision Group.

　　“深圳是公认的创新高地、创业福地、投资宝地。”王海民认为，无数投资者被这片热土吸引，主要原因有四，一是名气大，深圳作为中国经济特区、粤港澳大湾区的核心引擎和中国特色社会主义先行示范区，叠加的黄金机遇深入人心；二是人气旺，去年深圳常住人口达1779万人，增量居一线城市前列；三是财气足，深圳已正式加入“万亿元消费城市俱乐部”；四是风气正，市场化、法治化、国际化的营商环境让大家“来了就是深圳人”。

　　"Shenzhen is a recognized hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment," said Wang Haimin. He identified four key reasons why so many investors are drawn to the city. First, Shenzhen enjoys a stellar reputation as China's Special Economic Zone, the core engine behind the GBA, and a Pilot Demonstration Area for Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, offering abundant golden opportunities. Second, the city has the largest population growth among first-tier cities, with its permanent population reaching 17.79 million last year. Third, the city is financially strong as a member of the "club of cities with total retail sales of consumer goods exceeding RMB 1 trillion". Fourth, the city boasts a market-oriented and world-class business environment governed by a sound legal framework that makes all newcomers feel at home.

　　王海民表示，深圳是创新之都，旅游是创意之业，两者碰撞出的火花就是幸福产业机遇，就是美好生活未来。中国旅游集团将抢抓深圳机遇，通过集团全球网络，讲好“深圳故事”，助力深圳打造具有全球影响力的世界级旅游目的地。

　　Wang Haimin emphasized that Shenzhen is a city of innovation with tourism as its creative industry. The synergy between these two factors creates vast opportunities for the "happiness industry" that helps people move toward a better future. He stated that China Tourism Group will seize these opportunities in Shenzhen and, by leveraging its global network, help tell the "Shenzhen story" and build the city into a world-class tourism destination with global influence.

　　“深圳是一个拥有世界级经济实力、研发投资、产业创新能力的城市，其商业环境充满活力。”许善淞表示，2023年以来，深圳市和达索系统一直在合作建立数字创新生态系统。“我们对深圳有长期的承诺。我们希望共同改造和升级传统产业，培养壮大战略性新兴产业，布局未来产业，首先在深圳和大湾区，然后扩展到整个中国。” 张雷则用“我们在深圳链接全球”来表达在深投资的心声。他认为，远景科技集团选择深圳的原因在于其市场化、法治化、国际化的营商环境。深圳与远景在航运绿色能源领域具有很好的合作基础；远景将在深圳打造全球绿色燃料创新中心、绿色航运运营平台、绿色能源示范中心和绿色金融运营中心，共同推动绿色能源领域的发展。

　　Xu Shansong said, "Shenzhen is a city with world-class economic strength, R&D investment, and industrial innovation capacity. Its business environment is vibrant and dynamic." He noted that since 2023, Shenzhen and Dassault Systèmes have been collaborating to build a digital innovation ecosystem. "We are committed to working with Shenzhen over a long term," said Zhang Lei. "Our goal is to jointly transform and upgrade traditional industries, cultivate and grow strategic emerging sectors, and position ourselves for future industries, first in Shenzhen and the GBA, and then across China." Zhang Lei also shared his perspective on investing in Shenzhen, stating, "We connect the world in Shenzhen." He explained that Envision Group's decision to invest in the city was driven by its market-oriented and world-class business environment governed by a sound legal framework. Shenzhen provides a strong foundation for collaboration with Envision Group in the sector of green energy for shipping. Envision Group plans to establish a global green fuel innovation center, a green shipping operations platform, a green energy demonstration center, and a green finance operations center in Shenzhen, aiming to drive the development of the green energy sector.
